Work For Us
Apply to become a Leaders in Safeguarding Reviewer
Reviewers are highly experienced safeguarding professionals who evaluate the safeguarding arrangements in organisations on behalf of Leaders in Safeguarding. This involves gathering evidence against our Nationally recognised Safeguarding and Wellbeing Standards and Review Frameworks.
All reviewers are thoroughly trained by us and have significant expertise in a range of disciplines including education, social work and community justice. Many have vast experience of statutory inspection and quality improvement.
Above all, our reviewers understand customers’ responsibilities and focus on realistic solutions to ensure safeguarding standards are reached.
Our reviewers are vital because they promote the high levels of integrity, credibility, and impact of our quality mark. Our reviewers don’t just verify standards; they contribute to raising them. They write detailed reports which clearly identify standards that are met and recommend action and improvements for any shortfalls.
Is this a role that would suit you?
If you are keen to share your safeguarding expertise and can identify the difference between compliance and outstanding practice then this might be right for you. Many of our reviewers undertake this role in addition to their existing positions. Others join soon after retirement so as to continue using and improving their knowledge, skills and experience. The role of reviewer is freelance and there is a cost for joining our training programme.
If you think this would be a good fit for you then we would like to hear from you. You can learn more about our payment details and entry criteria by contacting our team today to discuss joining us.
